Position Overview As our IT Support Analyst, you will provide hands‑on support to maintain and optimize in‑house technology equipment and IT assets. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading hardware and software to ensure peak performance. Acting as an extension of the helpdesk team, you will handle Tier 2 support requests and provide site‑specific technical assistance, collaborating closely with Client Services teams across the U.S. and Canada. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service to users. Location On‑site, Cambridge, ON Your Day To Day As Our IT Support Analyst Install, configure, maintain, and optimize desktops, laptops, and network hardware and software to ensure reliable performance and minimal downtime. Create, deploy, and maintain standard and specialized desktop images using deployment tools. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues; provide advanced troubleshooting and desk‑side support for end users. Support remote access systems, mobile devices, and broadband services. Assist with system security patches, upgrades, and decommissioning of IT assets in a secure manner. Maintain accurate inventory of computer systems, components, and software licenses. Provide user training, documentation, and responsive customer service. Collaborate with IT System Engineers to support data centre operations and infrastructure tasks. Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in end‑user support. Follow all company policies and safety procedures while contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment. Be available for occasional after‑hours support and flexible scheduling as required. Required Qualifications University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2–3 years of relevant IT support experience, including technical call centre, helpdesk, or customer service roles. Strong knowledge of IT host services, storage technologies, networking, and enterprise data storage/back‑up solutions. Experience with desktop operating systems (Windows 10/11), Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policy, and peripheral device configuration. Familiarity with image deployment processes, software package deployment tools, and ticketing systems (LANDesk preferred). Understanding of LAN/WAN environments, hardware, and departmental compliance procedures. Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including documentation and rapport‑building. Proficient with Microsoft Office and office automation software. Strong problem‑solving, organisational, and team collaboration abilities, with flexibility to adapt to changing environments. The base salary range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $68 000 and $90 000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
