Talent Acquisition Partner / Senior Recruiter, Go to Market Join Course Merchant, part of D2L, a cloud company modernizing education and building the Future of Work. As a Talent Acquisition Partner / Senior Recruiter, you will help build the pipeline of future D2Lers, own hiring targets, drive results, and evolve the Talent Acquisition strategy. You will support our global Go to Market (Sales & Marketing) client groups, hiring exceptional candidates into roles such as Sales Executives, Solutions Engineers, and Client Sales Executives across D2L’s global locations. Impact & Responsibilities Develop recruiting strategies for open positions in partnership with hiring managers. Identify and implement methods of attracting and acquiring high‑performance talent for technical roles like Sales Executives, Marketing Specialists, and Business Development Representatives. Define and build out effective recruiting processes. Ensure a high‑touch candidate experience from beginning to end while owning full life‑cycle responsibilities. Maintain data integrity in recruitment reporting and information. Leverage data to stay abreast of trends and to guide strategy. Source, build, and nurture a network of contacts and a pipeline of talent to facilitate timely solutions to future resourcing requests. Proactively source and recruit passive talent globally. Manage full‑cycle recruiting with a focus on hiring‑manager partnership and candidate advocacy. Collaborate with hiring managers to provide expertise and hire the best talent. Combine social media, networking, the employee value proposition, technology, and process to enhance recruiting both inside and outside D2L and drive the talent brand. Elevate the candidate experience internally and externally. Increase business visibility externally and establish D2L as a destination employer by sourcing and managing talent meet‑ups. Contribute to talent acquisition projects, programs, and events, including delivering training sessions for managers and people‑and‑culture events. Align talent acquisition strategy to business needs and actively participate in the development of a global recruitment strategy. Conduct research projects and prepare recruiting reports as needed. Provide an inclusive candidate experience for individuals from all backgrounds. Collaborate across our People & Culture team, adopting a “get it done” attitude. Ensure data integrity across ATS and other People systems and processes. Serve as a mentor and subject‑matter expert on all recruiting‑related activities to team members. What You’ll Bring to the Role At least 5 years of full‑cycle recruitment experience focused on Go to Market roles in a fast‑paced, global environment. Experience hiring in regions outside North America is required. Proficiency in creative sourcing techniques such as social media, networking events, job postings, and LinkedIn, with ability to adapt to regional norms and expectations. Self‑motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and handle high‑volume competing priorities while driving results. Understanding that recruitment extends beyond transactions, and appreciation of talent brand importance in a global strategy. Creative, resourceful, and proficient with social recruitment technologies. Outstanding collaborative skills and demonstrated leadership. Experience building relationships with diverse teams, candidates, clients, and hiring managers, communicating effectively at all levels. Proficiency with ATS systems and MS Office. Location Requirements Kitchener, Toronto, or Remote Ontario; our Kitchener and Toronto offices have hybrid in‑office expectations, with high flexibility to accommodate international hiring requirements. Education Requirements Background in Human Resources, Business, or a related program. Expected Base Salary Range $80,000 – $95,000 CAD. The annualized base salary is based on relevant knowledge, skills, education, training, and experience. Additional benefits may include wellness subsidy, equity grants, variable incentive, and more.
