The ideal candidate will bridge the technical and commercial aspects of our security solutions, working closely with both customers and the sales team to demonstrate the value of our application security testing portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with account teams to develop and execute technical sales strategies for application security testing solutionsLead technical discovery sessions, demonstrations, and proof of concept implementations for prospects and customersProvide technical consultation on static application security testing (SAST), software composition analysis (SCA), and dynamic application security testing (DAST) solutionsAnalyze customer environments and requirements to design and propose security solutionsCreate and deliver compelling technical presentations and documentation tailored to various technical and business stakeholdersSupport security architecture discussions and integrate with customer DevSecOps workflowsProvide competitive technical differentiation and value propositionParticipate in application security industry events and stay current with emerging technologies and trendsRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience in application security sales engineering, solution architecture, or related technical pre-sales roleUnderstanding of application security concepts, vulnerabilities, and testing methodologiesExperience in SAST, SCA, or DAST technologiesTechnical skill-set in software development, security engineering, or related fieldExcellent problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking approachOutstanding communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various audiencesPreferred QualificationsPrior consulting or solutions engineering experienceExposure to DevOps tools and methodologiesUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelinesTechnical aptitude: Understanding of general development techniques, tools and features of various languages, though coding is not a primary job functionSolution orientation: Creative problem-solving and consultative sellingCommunication: Excellent verbal and written skills for engaging with technical and business stakeholdersProject management: Ability to manage multiple concurrent customer engagementsAdaptability: Flexible thinking and ability to adjust approach based on customer needsNice to have: French (Fluent)The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong business acumen, demonstrating the ability to understand customer challenges.
