Join to apply for the Maintenance Millwright role at AmrizeAbout The RoleAbout The RoleAggregate plant millwrighting involves the installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of stationary industrial machinery.What You’ll AccomplishPromotes a positive safety culture through leadership by example.Performs all work activities following relevant safety policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and critical success factors.Reads blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators) according to layout plans using hand and power tools.Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controllers.Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.Tasks require bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 lbs, working in tight areas and in a dusty environment.Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up and repair.Operate machine tools such as drills and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery.Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.What We’re Looking ForAll applicants must have their Industrial Mechanic Millwright certification from the college of trades or their interprovincial red seal certification.Problem solving, technical, creative, organized (Lominger Competency).Additional RequirementsParticipate in plant safety including performing risk assessments before each job.Maintain good attendance.Complete scheduled work on-time.Provide feedback to the Maintenance Supervisors for work improvements.Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).What We OfferA comprehensive Health & Dental benefits plan for you and your dependents as outlined in the CBA.A Pension Plan designed to support you through various stages of your career and life, as outlined in the CBA.Healthy Living support through an EFAP, offering confidential assistance for work, health, or life challenges.Service recognition awards to celebrate your contributions.Perks & discounts on a variety of products and services.An inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can be themselves.A collaborative work culture in a supportive and team-oriented work environment.Company-provided personal protective equipment ensuring your safety and comfort on the job.We thank you for your interest.
