Senior or Lead Full-Stack Java Developers We are seeking highly experienced and motivated Senior or Lead Full-Stack Java Developers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for architecture, solution design, and developing robust, scalable applications, utilizing their deep expertise in both back-end and front-end technologies. A strong background in the financial sector (banking or insurance) is a critical requirement. Contract Duration: 12+ months (strong possibility of renewal) Start Date: As soon as possible Languages: English and French (preferred), English-only acceptable Department Focus & Current Initiatives Developing a New Client Onboarding Portal. Driving other Strategic Technology Projects aimed at modernizing our operational stack. Key Responsibilities Lead architecture and solution design activities for complex, enterprise-level applications. Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency applications using Java and Spring Boot. Implement highly efficient, scalable solutions leveraging expertise in Multithreading. Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript. Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to define feature specifications and technical solutions. Ensure code quality, security, and performance through rigorous testing and code reviews. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and operational support. Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 8-10+ years of professional experience with Java and Angular, including 5+ years spent in senior or lead developer roles. Technical Leadership: Proven experience in Architecture and Solution Design. Back-end Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework. Proven experience with high-performance concurrent programming, specifically Multithreading. Front-end Expertise: Expertise in modern front-end development using Angular and TypeScript. Industry Experience: Strong background in the banking or insurance industry is essential. Education: A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
