Join a dynamic team working on a large-scale, mission-critical banking platform for a leading financial institution in the U.S. This platform supports a wide range of services, including digital banking, payments, and risk management systems. As a Senior QA Lead (Manual), you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products in a fast-paced, regulatory-driven environment.Full-time and long-term. Location – Toronto.Hybrid work. 2 days in the office.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the QA process for multiple workstreams within the banking projectDevelop, review, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test casesCoordinate and execute manual testing across web and mobile platformsEnsure coverage across functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product managersIdentify, log, and track defects; lead defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolutionEnsure adherence to industry best practices and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, FFIEC)Mentor and guide a team of manual QA engineers, promoting continuous improvement and best practicesContribute to release readiness, documentation, and reporting to stakeholdersRequirementsLocation: Remote (Canada)6+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior roleStrong expertise in manual testing methodologies for complex enterprise applicationsProven experience in banking, fintech, or other financial domainsSolid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologiesExperience working with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team #J-18808-Ljbffr
