Job Description We are currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geotechnical Practice, reporting to the Practice Lead, to support the delivery of projects with a particular focus on numerical modeling and foundation design. Your role Perform advanced geotechnical analyses, including 2D and 3D numerical modeling using software such as PLAXIS, RS, and FLAC. Lead and execute complex geotechnical design tasks for major infrastructure projects across transportation, energy, and urban development sectors. Prepare high-quality technical reports and provide independent technical reviews. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions. Support proposal development and contribute to winning new work through technical expertise. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team. Act as a technical reference for geotechnical design standards, seismic analysis, and soil dynamics. About you Master’s or PhD in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering with specialization in numerical modeling and soil dynamics. Minimum 5 years of relevant geotechnical experience, including major project delivery. Proficiency in advanced geotechnical software (PLAXIS, RS, FLAC) and seismic design principles. Professional Engineering License in Ontario or Quebec, or eligibility within 6 months. Strong technical writing and communication skills, with proven ability to produce and review high-quality deliverables. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced consultancy environment. Willingness to travel for short-term assignments within Ontario and across Canada.
