Location: Lawson, St. Joseph's Hospital – London, ON Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time (until approximately December 31, 2028, with potential for renewal). Salary Range: $26.01 – $32.51 per hour. Responsibilities Recruit and screen study participants. Document processes and procedures. Manufacture capsules. Perform quality control using standardized techniques in the laboratory. Communicate and maintain lab records. Handle lab purchases and maintain lab stocks and equipment. Conduct routine quality analysis. Perform literature searches and assist with preparing documents. Provide administrative support and other duties as required by the research team. Certification Requirements Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) ICH guidelines Good Clinical Practice (GCP) WHMS training Shipping of Dangerous Goods training (TDG/IATA) Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory technology, microbiology, or biochemistry. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills for high‑pressure environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Good judgement, focus, attention to detail, initiative, tact, and professional attitude. Adaptable, flexible, and resourceful with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Laboratory skills in microbiology, biochemistry, or molecular biology. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a health‑related field or equivalent qualification. Laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Training in ICH, GCP, and GMP guidelines. Experience with regulatory document preparation. Phlebotomy experience. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Immunization Requirements Proof of vaccination or immunity against measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chickenpox), hepatitis B, COVID‑19, and influenza. Documentation of tuberculosis skin testing.
