OverviewMid-Market Account Executive, NA West (Remote) – Fully remote position serving the Western North America region. Location: United States or Canada, within Pacific or Mountain time zones. Role overview: join a growing North American sales team and help accelerate expansion by driving net-new business and growing existing accounts in a technical SaaS environment. The role requires self-motivation, ability to develop territory plans, generate pipeline, and guide prospects through a consultative sales cycle (typically 3–4 months).About Akuity: With the move to the cloud, Kubernetes has become widely adopted by DevOps and Platform Engineering teams, adding complexity. The Akuity founders built Argo CD to streamline Kubernetes adoption. Argo CD helps developers own, understand, and deploy their K8s deployments via GitOps. Today, Argo CD is a leading CNCF project used by many enterprises. Akuity enables teams to manage development and deployment across hundreds of Kubernetes clusters from a single control plane. Akuity is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.What You’ll DoBuild and manage a pipeline of net new and expansion opportunities across North America.Generate new business opportunities through multichannel outbound campaigns.Develop a territory plan, including target accounts and pipeline generation strategies.Research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and develop relationships to drive opportunities.Attend customer meetings and events, such as conferences and roadshows, several times per year.Act as a customer advocate, partnering with Customer Success and engineering teams for feature requests.Leverage sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC to qualify, advance, and forecast opportunities accurately.Map technical needs to business outcomes and articulate ROI.Manage all activities and pipeline in HubSpot.What We Look ForMust HaveMinimum 2 years in a B2B SaaS closing sales role.Proven success in consistently exceeding sales targets.Strong technical orientation and ability to understand DevOps, Kubernetes, and the cloud-native ecosystem.Effective communication with excellent listening, presentation, and writing skills.Self-starter who thrives in a high-energy, collaborative environment.Experience educating customers on product features, best practices, and adoption strategies.Nice to HaveKnowledge of Argo CD and/or open-source enterprise sales.Experience selling from the bottom up within engineering organizations.Compensation & BenefitsPay Range: USD $180,000 - $240,000 OTE + Equity.
