What is The Role We\'re seeking a strategic PM Director to play a key role in scaling our AI-driven SIEM product portfolio while building world-class product operations capabilities. Join our Elastic Security leadership team and drive the strategic direction of groundbreaking solutions that empower organizations to gain AI-driven insights across their security ecosystem, detect sophisticated threats, and orchestrate proactive defense strategies at enterprise scale What You Will Be Doing Strategic Leadership & Vision: Lead cross-portfolio roadmap planning and prioritization Drive product vision through presentations to executive leadership and enterprise customers Establish product positioning in the evolving SIEM/security analytics market Product Portfolio Management: Be responsible for product lifecycle for our security analytics solutions from concept to market Build coordinated roadmaps balancing innovation with reliable delivery Drive product-market fit through customer engagement and competitive intelligence Product Operations Excellence: Establish and improve product operations frameworks, processes, and metrics Implement data-driven analytics, critical metric tracking, and performance measurement Optimize development workflows, release processes, and cross-functional teamwork Drive operational excellence in launches, rollouts, and customer adoption Team Leadership & Development: Mentor a team of product managers Cultivate a culture of innovation and operational excellence Collaborate with engineering on technical architecture and development priorities Partner with design to ensure exceptional user experiences Market & Customer Engagement: Engage with customers, analysts, and practitioners to validate product direction Collaborate on go-to-market strategies and competitive positioning Drive customer advisory programs and feedback loops What You Bring Experience: 12+ years of product management experience with 8+ years in cybersecurity and enterprise software, including 5+ years in director-level leadership roles leading product teams and driving cross-functional initiatives 5+ years specifically in SIEM, security analytics, threat detection, or related security platforms with success in building and scaling AI/ML-powered security products Experience with enterprise security sales cycles, large-scale deployments, and building product operations at scale Knowledge: Experience in SIEM architectures, security data lakes, enterprise security analytics platforms, and AI/ML applications in cybersecurity including behavioral analytics and threat detection Understanding of big data platforms (Elasticsearch, cloud-native architectures, streaming analytics), security orchestration (SOAR), and threat intelligence platforms Knowledge of enterprise security operations workflows, SOC management, natural language processing for security use cases, and product operations standard methodologies including metrics frameworks and process optimization Skills: Exceptional leadership and team development capabilities with experience managing managers, critical thinking and execution perfection Outstanding social skills with ability to influence executive team members, combined with data-driven decision making and strong analytical problem-solving abilities Proficiency and Education: Passionate curiosity about the evolving cybersecurity landscape Strategic approach with attention to operational detail and market dynamics BS/MS degree in engineering, computer science, information security, or other related subject area Location and Travel: The ideal candidate will be based in the continental United States, Canada, or Europe, though other locations may be considered. Be prepared to travel up to 25% to engage with enterprise customers, attend industry events, and collaborate with distributed team members Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component. The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee\'s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic\'s stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.
