The Psychologist Masters completes assessments of referred children, collaborates with childcare providers to develop behavioural intervention plans, and communicates with parents and other professionals involved with the children. In addition, the Psychologist Masters provides workshops and psycho-educational resources to caregivers and refers children and families to other community services. The Psychologist Masters also works as a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Children's Services Team and Youth Program. “Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.” Qualifications Experience: Experience working in a mental health clinic providing services to children between the ages of 0 to 12 years and their families/caregivers. Education: Master of Psychology (MPsych). Other Education and Training: Master of Clinical Psychology is acceptable; Master of Educational Psychology is acceptable. Competencies: Advanced - Communication skills Advanced - Interpersonal skills Advanced - Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team (content truncated).
