Civil Structural Analysis / Systems Engineer 8-10+ years of experience in Civil Engineering Prepare and review engineering calculations, and design reports Provide structural specifications for cranes, lifting devices and be familiar with their designs Develop and review technical specifications for concrete material and testing requirements Aging management and FMEA according to Canadian standards requirements Working with the following codes preferred: CNSC, Canadian Nuclear Standard, AISC N690, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ASCE 7, IBC, and Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual Biggest thing is having Canadian Civil nuclear regulatory experience Nice to Have Skills & Experience Preference for people who have supported the actual construction of the projects People who have worked on net new site builds Any combination of these skills Defining the requirements and construction and being onsite to do the observation and building out the requirements Job Description Seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry to support advanced structural analysis activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks, and experience with specialized engineering tools.
