We are an engineering group, 100% owned by our managers and employees, passionate about designing with ingenuity and building with commitment.Driven by values of technical excellence, proximity to clients, and entrepreneurial spirit, we aim to be a positive force for the environment and society.Join our multidisciplinary team — your adventure begins hereWork location: OntarioAs a Construction Inspector, your responsibilities include:Conducting on-site inspections of third-party attachments on electrical distribution poles to ensure compliance with Ontario Regulation 22/04 and Hydro One’s CVP;Reviewing as-built documentation and verifying accuracy against field conditions;Completing inspection records and certificates for compliant installations;Addressing deficiencies through corrective action reports and informing installers;Performing QA/QC inspections and ensuring adherence to Hydro One’s requirements;Documenting non-compliances and submitting reports for corrective actions;Implementing increased sampling for recurring deficiencies;Maintaining accurate records and reports;Communicating findings to stakeholders;Ensuring safety standards and regulations are met;Reporting hazards and participating in safety training.Your profileBackground in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Utility Infrastructure (diploma or degree preferred);3+ years of relevant experience in electrical distribution system QA/QC and construction verification;Knowledge of Ontario Regulation 22/04 and Hydro One’s CVP;Understanding of utility pole infrastructure and electrical safety standards;Experience with electrical design and as-built documentation;Proficiency in GIS, digital tools, and data collection software;Valid driver’s license and ability to operate in various locations;Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills;Effective communication and independence in work.Your benefitsField-based role with regional travel;Exposure to diverse weather and terrain;Mandatory PPE provided;Availability for planned and unplanned inspections.#LI-MA1We value respect, collaboration, and innovation.
