Requirements Lead, Rail & Transit – WSP in Canada As a Requirements Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale rail infrastructure projects. You’ll lead requirements management activities across the full project lifecycle in line with ISO/IEC 15288 practices. Responsibilities Capture client needs through development of user, stakeholder, operational, system and subsystem requirements. Develop and implement the Requirements Management Approach, plans and processes. Design and manage requirements databases using industry-standard tools (e.g., IBM DOORS Next Generation). Maintain requirements baselines throughout the project lifecycle, including change control. Ensure verification and validation of requirements, linking them to tests and results. Provide training and support for requirements tools and processes. Collaborate with configuration and change management teams to maintain systematic documentation and KPIs. What you’ll bring to WSP Degree in engineering or related discipline. 10+ years in the rail transit industry, including minimum 3 years in requirements engineering or administration. Proficient with IBM DOORS NG (administrator level). Understanding of requirements management principles, V-model lifecycle and change control. Exposure to construction and T&C activities. Knowledge of RAMS, Human Factors and Systems Integration processes. Basic understanding of MBSE practices. Licensed P.Eng. in Ontario. INCOSE Certification is preferred.
