Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate casual Personal Caregiver to join our team in Maple Ridge. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional care and support, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well‑being of our clients. Work Location Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada Pay $21.00 – $23.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management. Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events. Administer personal care services in accordance with the care plan directives. Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest standard. Assist clients with activities of daily living tailored to their specific needs. Perform specialised procedures where training has been provided, ensuring current competency. Observe and document client conditions in line with company standards; promptly report any unusual events or changes to the supervisor or office. Strong knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service. Effective communication in spoken and written English; French proficiency is an asset. Current knowledge of community‑care practices to deliver high‑quality care. Physical capability to assist clients with movement and repositioning; able to lift 23 kg, squat, bend, stand and reach. Reliable mode of transportation, a valid driver’s licence and a vehicle. Clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check. Health & Safety Depending on provincial regulations and the position, new hires may be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID‑19, Hepatitis, seasonal flu and other illnesses.
