Role Overview As Akur8 continues to expand, we’re looking for a Regional Sales Director for North America Scale with strong expertise in new business development to help continue our growth in North America, focusing on developing our market share with smaller insurance companies. The successful candidate will join the North America Sales team, whose mission is to drive revenue growth for Akur8 in North America. Responsibilities Manage a team of sellers and sell to a segment of insurance companies within the North America market. Grow the North America Scale accounts book of business with new logos. Increase the value of the existing book of North America Scale clients. Own revenue targets for the North America Scale accounts segment. Solidify Akur8’s market leadership in this segment. Typical Missions Define and execute the strategy for the Scale market in North America. Lead a high‑performing sales team focused on driving growth. Identify new opportunities for growth in the market. Own higher‑stake deals. Build long‑term relationships with clients, understand their business needs and position solutions that add value. Partner with marketing, product and customer success to refine messaging, customer journeys and product‑market fit. Suggest new ideas and approaches to improve our product based on client expectations. Travel Requirement Travel is required for attending client meetings, events and internal gatherings. Qualifications 8+ years of professional experience in complex B2B sales. Demonstrated success selling SaaS products, ideally with a focus on new business sales. Previous experience managing and developing a team of sales professionals. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. Hard Skills Proven team management skills. Experience in new business development and a track record of mastering sales strategies for complex tech SaaS products. Hands‑on lead generation (cold calling, networking, events). Familiarity with sales protocols and SaaS company processes, use of CRMs, Slack communication, multi‑team interactions. Understanding of working with technical teams and navigating a global company. Soft Skills Empathetic, humble and trustworthy leadership style. Flexible and adaptable; comfortable managing multiple evolving priorities. Analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to problem solving. Language Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
