As an Inventory Associate, you will be responsible for performing cycle counts, creating approvals, managing stock, and utilizing the SAP system along with Microsoft Office programs to ensure accurate inventory. Additionally, you will play a key role in performing root cause analysis and reconciling discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.Work Shift: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PMCore Job ResponsibilitiesConduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and reconcile any discrepancies foundPerform root cause analysis to investigate and identify the underlying causes of inventory discrepancies and develop corrective actionsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or issuesReconcile inventory records, including identifying and rectifying discrepancies between physical counts and system dataEnsure compliance with established inventory control policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsUtilize the SAP ERP system to perform inventory-related transactions, such as, issuing, transferring, and adjusting inventoryManage inventory by blocking and releasing inventory due to stock checks, damage to products, quality purposes and product recallCreate approvals for inventory movement, ensuring proper authorization and documentationAssist in the implementation and improvement of inventory management processes and proceduresAdjust damaged and returned products and verify receipt against approved authorization.Complete all activities and documentation, accurately, and in a timely basis in compliance with GMP and company proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and protocolsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or related roles is preferredThe ability to operate material handling equipment - licensed with any one of the following forkliftsStrong organizational skillsStrong oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsStrong listening and problem resolution skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a teamHigh sense of urgency with an emphasis on Customer FocusStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and WordComfortable working at heights (Operating MHE)Safety conscious with the ability to operate material handling equipment and lift up to 50 lbs in weightMedline Canada is committed to diversity and inclusivity and we encourage applications from members of groups that have been historically disadvantaged and marginalized, including First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples, Indigenous peoples of North America, racialized persons/persons of colour and those who identify as women, persons with disabilities and LGBTQ+ persons.Medline Canada is committed to the principles of accessibility in Canada.
