We’re looking for a Total Rewards Manager to design and lead a rewards strategy that attracts, retains, and motivates our talent across Canada and the United States. About the Role As Total Rewards Manager, you’ll oversee the design, development, and administration of compensation, benefits, and retirement programs. You’ll partner closely with leadership and HR to ensure our programs are equitable, compliant, and aligned with our business goals. What You’ll Do Partner with leadership to build a strong compensation philosophy and competitive pay structures. Lead job evaluation and market benchmarking to ensure fairness and competitiveness. Oversee annual compensation cycles (merit, salary review, STIP/LTIP). Develop tools, guidelines, and policies to support pay decisions across the organization. Benefits, Pension & Wellness Programs Manage Canadian and U.S. benefit and retirement plans—ensuring compliance, cost‑efficiency, and market alignment. Partner with brokers and consultants on renewals and plan performance. Lead employee communications to promote understanding and appreciation of total rewards. Data, Reporting & Compliance Analyze compensation and benefits data to support strategic decision‑making. Ensure compliance with all employment, tax, and pension legislation. Produce reports and maintain documentation for audits and leadership insights. Act as a trusted advisor to HRBPs and managers on all total rewards matters. Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations to align programs with business goals. Support HR system integrations, automation, and process harmonization projects. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or Finance (CHRP designation preferred). 5–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in compensation and benefits (manufacturing or multi‑site experience an asset). Solid understanding of Canadian and U.S. rewards programs and compliance. Proven experience in program design, salary structure development, and benchmarking. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with HRIS/compensation systems (implementation experience a plus). Analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
