Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Avionics – Category "E" Pacific Coastal Airlines (PCA) is seeking a permanent full‑time Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Avionics – Category "E" to be based in Richmond, BC. The Maintenance Department fosters a team environment across line maintenance, heavy maintenance, troubleshooting, and major component changes for both M1 and M2 aircraft. Responsibilities Provide outstanding support to customers and embody the Pacific Coastal Airlines' motto. Adhere to the highest safety standards by executing procedures. Utilize knowledge to identify and prioritize operational needs. Ensure punctuality of proper paperwork submissions (certifications and re‑certifications recorded prior to releasing aircraft). Stay current on Company Maintenance Control Manuals and other industry manuals/materials. Act as a role model for respect of corporate values, professionalism, diversity, and service excellence. Qualifications Valid Transport Canada AME license – category E. Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP). Detail‑oriented and safety focused, following procedures. Knowledgeable in operational needs prioritization. Ensure timely paperwork submissions (certifications and re‑certifications recorded before releasing aircraft). Current knowledge of CMCM and other industry manuals/materials. Experience on B1900 and Saab 340 aircraft is an asset. Other Qualifications Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays on shift rotations. Willingness to travel as required to service all aircraft in the fleet. Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Able to work in various weather conditions and elevated noise levels. What We Offer Competitive compensation: $38.77–$47.04 per hour, based on experience. Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) pay: up to $520 per month. Tool/Boot Allowance: up to $500 per year. Extended health/medical benefits.
