Business Development Representative (BDR) – In‑Person Recruitment Event CoLab Greater St. John’s Metropolitan Area – CoLab Headquarters, 251 East White Hills Road, St. John’s, Newfoundland (2nd Floor). When: Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm (Event starts promptly at 5:30 pm). What to bring: Resume and a professional outfit. The event starts with a presentation on the BDR role, team culture, expectations and performance metrics, followed by a one‑on‑one interview. About the role CoLab is hiring a motivated Business Development Representative to build and qualify a pipeline of sales opportunities. SDRs often advance to Account Executive roles. The position is 100% in‑office, five days a week, and offers significant growth and promotion prospects. What you'll do Generate qualified pipeline and drive growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers through cold calls, emails, and social outreach. Meet monthly and quarterly SQL and SAO targets. Act as the first point of contact for prospects, embodying our brand voice and uncovering pain points. Conduct in‑depth account research to identify decision‑makers and understand buying signals. Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule high‑quality meetings and ensure smooth handoffs. Maintain accurate outreach records in Salesforce and outreach tools. Continuously improve through feedback, coaching, and skill development. What you'll need Strong executive presence and confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels, including C‑suite. Entrepreneurial drive to build pipeline and achieve sales goals. Creative problem‑solving, adaptability, and a proactive mindset. Ability to understand technical products and communicate value clearly. Team‑first attitude with ownership and accountability.
