The depth of our resources is evident in the variety of projects we construct; from water filtration to wastewater treatment; dams to ethanol; we build it all….and morePosition SummaryThe Electrical Coordinator will report to the Project Manager and work closely with the various Electrical and Commissioning project teams, providing assistance to our current and future Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant projects.NAC is currently seeking an Electrical Coordinator to join our Water Facility upgrade project in Brandon, MB. Individuals willing to relocate to Manitoba are encouraged to apply. Furnished accommodations provided to qualified non-local candidates.Job DescriptionAssist with electrical coordination for all aspects of the project.Incorporate addendums, RFI’s, CRX’s etc. into drawings and specifications as required.Review of estimate and project scope to provide bill of material and project Equipment Control Logs.Assist in project change management tasks such as reviewing scope change and prepare Bill of materials complete with costs.Prepare electrical and commissioning schedule data for integration to overall project schedulesBe knowledgeable in all facets of the electrical start up and commissioning activities (i.e. Scope, drawings, specifications, planning, expediting, resource scheduling).Support the projects' team with the creation of RFI’s and see the process through to completion.Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude.Prepare job status reports and other reports as required for reporting to senior management.Obtain field experience for career growth by assisting trade superintendents and project management in the project field, as requiredKnowledge and understanding of NAC’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures as per the roles and responsibilities within the HSE Manual.RequirementsStrong construction electrical/instrumentation/commissioning backgroundProficient with drawings and specificationsAbility to procure materials and track costsStrong administrative and communication skillsMust be accurate and detail orientedKnowledge in motor control, fire alarm, HVAC and PLCsNAC Offers:Competitive compensationOpportunities for career growth, development and advancement, including financial assistanceComprehensive benefit plan (dental, vision, health, etc.)Employee & Family Assistance ProgramExcellent company matched pension planRegistered Retirement Savings PlansAdditional time off between Christmas and New Year’s DayCommunity involvement opportunitiesFriendly working environmentNumerous team activities and various company eventsNAC is committed to providing equal opportunities for all individuals to achieve their goals.
