Recruitment Team Lead at LeverageTek Staffing Solutions LeverageTek is actively seeking a Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst for a 3-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location: Remote The MDM Analyst will: Conduct a comprehensive discovery and impact assessment of existing location hierarchy data across systems and domains. Identify data quality issues, duplication, and inconsistencies. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document location hierarchy standards. Support the selection and implementation of MDM tools and frameworks. Assist in the integration of standardized location data into enterprise systems. Provide recommendations for expanding MDM practices to other domains. Work closely with data stewards, business units, and IT teams to ensure alignment with governance policies. Deliver Discovery and Impact Assessment Report for Location Hierarchy Data. Produce Data Quality Analysis Reports. Recommend MDM Tooling and Frameworks. Develop Implementation Plan for Location Hierarchy Standardization. Create Roadmap for Expansion to Additional Domains. Generate Documentation and Knowledge Transfer Materials. Key Qualifications Proven experience with Master Data Management (MDM) strategies and tools – Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or similar cloud-based data platforms. Strong data analysis and SQL proficiency. Experience translating technical findings into business recommendations is critical for success in this governance-focused role. Qualifications Proven experience in MDM strategies and tools. Strong proficiency in SQL or MySQL for data discovery, validation, and quality analysis. Familiarity with enterprise data cataloging tools. Experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or similar cloud-based data platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Assets Related certificates: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Certified Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP), SQL Certification.
