Today, we are a leader in medical imaging and informatics with over 200 specialists supporting more than 1500 hospitals and clinics across Canada.Job DescriptionReporting to the Regional Service Manager, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, calibration and installation of diagnostic medical imaging systems to ensure exceptional operation and support for our customers.Key responsibilitiesParticipate in the installation and calibration of new equipment installed in hospitals and clinics;Support the policies, procedures and practices of Christie Innomed;Provide field service for commissioning, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, proactively resolve issues, and perform preventive maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment;Monitor and maintain an insurance plan for equipment safety and mandatory performance levels;Maintain diagnostic imaging equipment;Meet the expectations of customers in terms of quality of service and communication;Complete documentation related to products, test reports, service records, etc;Travel to hospitals and clinics to carry out planned and unplanned service activities related to analog and digital radiography systems, mammography systems and computer-assisted radiology systems;Effectively manage time and assigned projects;Be on call in turn to respond to customers outside of business hours.Desired ProfileQualifications and experienceCollege diploma in electronics, computer science or electromechanics, or in another relevant field of study;At least 2 years of experience in the maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment, preferably in a hospital/medical setting;Good knowledge of Windows and Office operating systems;Specific skills in terms of modality, including Radiographic, Radiographic/Fluoroscopic, Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Nuclear Medicine; knowledge of PACS terms, SIR, DICOM is an asset;Experience in diagnostic imaging, such as radiography, breast imaging and ultrasound, is an asset;Experience in maintaining documentation of all activities performed and in supporting performance improvement initiatives for the multi-vendor services program;Excellent command of English both orally and in writing.Others Desired ElementsExcellent oral and written communication skills;Customer satisfaction and loyalty at heart;Expertise in analysis and problem solving;Good learning ability, self-taught;Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;Demonstrate rigor and method;Ability to manage stress and adapt to different clients;Take initiative, act with confidence and work under one’s own direction;Have a valid driver’s license;Be available to travel frequently in BC according to operational needs.Your needs, our concerns at Christie InnomedWorking at Christie Innomed means operating in an organisation where the individual is at the center of our concerns.
