This newly created role reflects the continued growth of our service and our commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred cancer care across HCA UK. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care that consistently meets the needs of all service users. Contribute to the safe and effective use of electronic prescribing systems, ensuring compliance with clinical governance standards and proactively identifying and mitigating risks to patient safety. Oversee all aspects of core operations, including e-prescribing, medicines management, horizon scanning and clinical audit. Carry out a full range of registered nurse duties, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient’s condition and administration of SACT and supportive care while adhering to hospital and departmental policies. Provide training and education to specialist healthcare professionals such as pharmacy, nursing and medical staff in the safe use of e-prescribing systems. Engage in continuous service and professional development, audit and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs). Qualifications Relevant nursing degree Registration with the NMC Minimum 2 years’ experience in an oncology and/or haematology setting as a registered nurse (essential) Proven experience in electronic prescribing systems, including system navigation, data integrity, and workflow optimisation (desirable) Experience delivering training and supervising junior colleagues. Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. Committed to patient safety, service improvement and multidisciplinary teamwork.
