Senior Fit Technician/Technical Designer

OverviewA fast-growing Montreal-based apparel company is expanding and adding a Senior Fit Technician/Technical Designer to support a new division. This is a newly created role driven by company growth, not a replacement, and offers the chance to influence product quality and fit from the ground up. This role blends fit, specs, and technical design. You\'ll work closely with production and overseas suppliers to ensure high-quality fit, construction, and product execution across multiple categories.ResponsibilitiesReview garment measurements and specsConduct fit sessions and assess constructionProvide clear corrections, comments, and approvals to suppliersTranslate design concepts or reference images into accurate spec packagesUse strong pattern-making knowledge to evaluate garmentsCollaborate with the production team to maintain quality and consistency across stylesSupport development through to bulk approvalsRequirementsExperience in fit approvals, measurement specs, and supplier communicationBackground in technical design, fit technology, or product development within apparelProficient with illustrator, and the microsoft suitesStrong knowledge of how to properly assess fit and constructionExcellent team member and collaboratorAble to work in a fast pace environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
