Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned Global Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead and execute sourcing strategies that drive competitive advantage across international markets. This role is critical to identifying and qualifying global suppliers, negotiating high-impact agreements, and supporting long-term sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Lead global sourcing efforts, identifying and qualifying suppliers across multiple international regions. Develop and execute RFQs/RFPs to support competitive procurement. Negotiate contracts, pricing, Incoterms, and delivery timelines with international suppliers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, logistics, and finance to support new product and supplier onboarding. Monitor global market trends and risks to develop proactive sourcing strategies. Resolve supply chain disruptions through strategic supplier partnerships and real-time problem solving. Create and refine sourcing toolkits (RFx templates, supplier scorecards, cost-savings models). Track sourcing KPIs, deliver cost-saving reports, and present insights to executive leadership. Travel internationally to engage with supplier partners and assess production capabilities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of progressive sourcing/procurement experience, with proven international sourcing exposure. Experience in the agri-food, CPG, or ingredients industry is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of quality standards, compliance regulations, and supplier auditing practices. Skilled in strategic negotiation, supplier development, and stakeholder communication. Willing and able to travel internationally as needed. Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience considered a strong asset.
