Position Overview We are seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies to design, build, and optimize our data‑driven reporting and analytics environment. This individual will play a key role in transforming business requirements into meaningful insights through robust data models, reports, and dashboards. Key Responsibilities Architect, design, and manage Microsoft SQL Server and related database solutions, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and visualizations to deliver actionable insights. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design BI solutions, and translate data into clear business intelligence outputs. Design and implement ETL processes and data pipelines to support enterprise reporting needs. Ensure data integrity, governance, and security across reporting solutions. Troubleshoot and optimize existing BI solutions for performance and usability. Stay current with Microsoft BI technologies and recommend improvements to processes, tools, and architectures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 5+ years of experience working in BI, data engineering, or database development with Microsoft technologies. Proven experience in Microsoft SQL Server database design, development, and administration. Advanced proficiency in Power BI (datasets, DAX, data modeling, dashboards, and reporting). Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and performance tuning. Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into BI solutions. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation (preferred). Experience with Power Apps for building low‑code business applications (preferred). Familiarity with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake) (preferred). Knowledge of data governance frameworks and security best practices (preferred). Exposure to data science concepts such as predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning using Python, R, or Azure Machine Learning (preferred).
