This is an opportunity to work directly on high-traffic Shopify stores, make fast, meaningful changes, and directly impact revenue.Role OverviewThe Full-Stack Developer / Shopify Expert will be responsible for proactively identifying, testing, and implementing improvements to our Shopify storefronts and landing pages with a sharp focus on boosting conversion rates, site speed, and customer experience. This is not a hands-off, request-only position — we’re seeking someone who lives and breathes optimization and thrives in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment.Your success will be measured by tangible improvements to conversion rates, customer experience scores, and overall site performance metrics.This is a full-time, remote role, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while staying closely aligned with our growth-focused team.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and implement front-end and back-end improvements to Shopify-based websites and landing pagesRun A/B tests, user experience optimizations, and CRO experiments independentlyOptimize page speed, mobile responsiveness, and checkout flow performanceBuild custom features, sections, and pages within Shopify’s Liquid framework and via third-party apps as neededAnalyze site metrics, heatmaps, and customer behavior tools to proactively surface opportunities for improvementWork closely with design, marketing, and product teams to translate ideas into functional, tested, high-performance web solutionsStay up to date on Shopify platform updates, app ecosystem changes, and eCommerce CRO best practicesMaintain clean, well-documented code and follow internal development workflowsTrack, report, and iterate based on the results of tests and site improvementKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Conversion Rate Lift – Measurable improvement in store conversion rates over baselineSite Speed Performance – Maintain or improve core web vitals and page load timesImplementation Velocity – Speed of independently QualificationsMust-Have Skills:3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experienceExperience with Shopify theme customization, app integrations, and custom section buildsProven track record of driving measurable eCommerce conversion rate improvementsStrong understanding of website performance optimization and core web vitalsAbility to independently run A/B tests, analyze results, and iterateDetail-oriented with clean, organized coding practicesProactive, driven, and ownership-focused — thrives without constant oversightNice-to-Have Skills:Experience with Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and heatmapping tools (e.g., Clarity, Hotjar, Lucky Orange)Familiarity with headless Shopify setups or Shopify HydrogenUI/UX design skills or ability to collaborate closely with design teamsExperience
