If you are an achiever who is relentless in ensuring that we achieve business results and create a great company culture while doing it, then we’re looking for youScopeThe Systems and Network Administrator manages the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the organization’s IT infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. This role also handles desktop support, vendor management, and service or maintenance contracts, reporting to the Team Lead, Infrastructure & Security.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdopt a security-first mindset by embedding cybersecurity best practices and proactive risk management in all IT operationsAdminister, monitor, and secure hybrid on-premises and cloud environments, including Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, Intune, and identity syncManage Microsoft 365 platforms — Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Power Platform — ensuring secure collaboration, data protection, and complianceHarden and improve network and cloud security through continuous threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response across firewalls, VPNs, and collaboration toolsDesign and maintain reliable network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN) to deliver high availability, scalability, and performanceImplement and manage security controls such as firewalls, VPNs, Conditional Access, MFA, DLP, and compliance policiesPerform upgrades, apply patches, and maintain lifecycle management for servers, endpoints, and key applicationsAdminister virtualized environments using VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV/Prism for provisioning, tuning, and high availabilityMonitor systems and networks, analyze performance trends, and plan proactively for capacity and optimizationMaintain and test backup, replication, and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuityPartners with cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects, system migrations, and modernization initiativesManage hardware inventory, software licenses, and vendor contracts to ensure compliance and cost efficiencyProvide Tier 3 support for complex issues involving infrastructure, systems, or networksAlign IT security practices with industry standards such as NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001Support IP telephony systems, including SIP/PRI and integrated collaboration solutionsDocument system configurations, network topologies, SOPs, and security policies for consistency and audit readinessEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance scalability, efficiency, and securityIdentify and prevent potential network or communication issues to ensure uninterrupted serviceSkills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on experience demonstrating technical proficiency and leadership in systems and network administration5-7 years of progressive experience in systems, network, and cloud administration within hybrid environmentsCertifications (Preferred)Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Microsoft 365 AdministratorMicrosoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or equivalentVMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP)CompTIA Security+ or similar cybersecurity certificationTechnical ExpertiseOperating Systems: Windows Server 2012+; Windows 10+; macOS; iOSVirtualization: VMware vSphere 6.x/7.x, Nutanix AHV/Prism CentralCloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure (Compute, Networking, Security, Backup, Defender, Conditional Access) and M365Networking: Extreme Networks, SonicWALL, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and firewall managementStorage & Backup: Veeam, Azure Backup, Nutanix Data ProtectionSecurity: Azure AD, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Conditional Access, Intune Compliance PoliciesPowerShell or Azure CLI automation and scriptingDatabases: SQL Server 2016+Other CompetenciesProven track record managing hybrid infrastructures across on-premises, cloud, and HCI platforms (Nutanix/VMware)Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation abilitiesWorking knowledge of ITIL processes for problem, change, and incident managementExcellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver under minimal supervisionCommitment to continuous learning and keeping current with new technologiesThe successful candidate will receive a conditional offer, contingent upon the successful completion of a background check conducted by our contracted third-party vendor.
