Vocational Rehabilitation Service Specialist (Vocational RSS)The Vocational Rehabilitation Service Specialist (VOC RSS) has a passion for working amongst motivated, diverse and engaged teams. A background in rehabilitation services combined with an inspired vision and purpose, will ensure the organization maintains quality client service and an environment of continuous learning and improvement.As part of a strong and professional team, you make a difference at the personal and community level by ensuring veterans achieve their employment goals and receive the best support possible.What You’ll DoBe part of a team of Rehabilitation Service Specialists in the delivery and coordination of Rehabilitation Services for program participantsAssist the team to provide superior participant-centered services that lead to successful outcomes in a timely and efficient mannerEstablish and meet caseload and performance metricsEnsure service standards and outcomes meet and exceed requirementsCoordinate all assessments, interpret reports, and provide recommendations for services to support Participants to reach their rehabilitation goalsCoordinate and conduct Vocational Rehabilitation and Vocational Assistance assessments and interventionsWhat You BringCertified Vocational Rehabilitation Services Professional (CVRP), or a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Services Professional - Fellow (CVRP -F), or Career Counsellors registered with the Ordre des conseillers et conseillères d'orientation du QuébecA minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the direct provision of medical, psycho-social and/or vocational rehabilitation services (or a combination thereof) to ParticipantsExperience conducting medical, psycho-social and/or vocational rehabilitation assessmentsExperience working with persons living with mental or physical health problems creating barriers to civilian lifeExperience analyzing and interpreting medical, psycho-social and/or vocational assessments and making recommendations based upon critical analysis of information leading to the development of a comprehensive plan and program of careExperience working with a variety of health professionals and disciplines in an interdisciplinary team environmentPreferred CriteriaBilingual (French/English)Experience working with employers, community resources, and training institutionsPreference given to qualified former CAF membersWhy Choose Lifemark?Competitive salary: CA$75,200.00/yrComprehensive and flexible health and dental benefitsOngoing learning and development opportunitiesA diverse and inclusive workplace with a track record of high employee engagement and teamworkInclusionWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
