Be part of it by applying for a position with us today.Start a career in insurance**Your everyday with us:*** As a Bilingual Medical Underwriter, you will have the opportunity to:* Analyze and manage medical underwriting requests* Determine product eligibility for our applicants* Prepare documentation, administer operational practices including invoicing, manage information systems, and communicate with customers* Analyze and review medical risks based on medical evidence requirements, making quality decisions regarding eligibility of coverage and issuance of personal health or life plans* Interact with clients, brokers/agents, physicians, and other departments over the phone, using various technologies and demonstrating exceptional administrative skills**What you need to succeed:*** A post-secondary diploma or degree and/or relevant working experience in Nursing or the healthcare field.* Excellent communication skills – clear and concise through email, letter, and phone, with confidence in explaining decisions* A consistent “Whatever it takes” attitude, enjoying new challenges every day* Strong technical aptitude – ability to multitask and navigate multiple software applications simultaneously* A medical or insurance background is a definite asset* To meet the needs of the business, bilingualism is required for this position (written, spoken, reading)#CBM1#LI-VS1We believe our employees should reflect the communities we serve and welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds.
