Title: Senior Java Full Stack Developer with GitHub Copilot Location: Remote - CST/EST Time Zone ContractMandatory / Required Skills:• Strong experience as a Senior Java Full Stack Developer• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and other AI development tools (installation, configuration, usage)• Expertise in defining and implementing technical policies for AI and code automation• Proven ability in developing standardized code templates, documentation, and workflows for team-wide adoption• Experience with repository hygiene optimization (README, documentation, templates)• Ability to create prompt patterns and workflow templates for AI-assisted development• Experience in instrumenting telemetry and monitoring for Copilot effectiveness, safety, and compliance• Self-organizing and independent working style with minimal supervisionOver View:Establishing GitHub Copilot readiness and agentic foundations, including org-wide configuration (policies, IDE extensions, seat management)Defining and implementing acceptable-use and data-boundary policies for AI assistantsOptimizing repository hygiene and code context (README, documentation, templates) to enhance AI support and guidanceCreating prompt patterns and workflow templates to standardize AI interactionsInstrumenting telemetry and monitoring to measure Copilot effectiveness, safety, and complianceDelivering a small agentic proof-of-concept, focused on orchestrating tasks with robust guardrails, as a foundation for future automation solutionsIdeal Profile:Senior Full Stack developers (not MLEs) with hands-on experience using and configuring AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)Strong track record in developing standardized code templates, documentation, and workflows for team-wide adoptionExperience in defining and operationalizing technical policies for AI and code automationCapable of self-organizing, managing deliverables independently, and collaborating with minimal supervisionAbility to deliver reusable assets that boost developer productivity, code quality, and onboarding efficiencyObjectives:Improve developer productivity and reduce PR cycle timesEnsure safe, compliant use of AI assistants through clear policies and monitoringEnhance code quality and consistency via standardized templates and guidanceAccelerate onboarding for new developers by leveraging reusable prompt and workflow patternsDeliver foundational assets to support agentic automation pilots in 2026, mitigating implementation riskPlease ensure proposed candidates match the seniority, AI developer experience, and self-directed working style described above.
