Structural Designer Shipbuilding (100% Remote) Base pay range: CA$50.00/hr - CA$65.00/hr 3 month contract with possible extensions. Responsibilities: Design and develop solutions with a Mechanical / Structural focus for the integration of new sub-systems / components into existing systems. Be responsible for the production of technical drawings and specifications to support the implementation of Engineering Changes for Ships/Vessels/Submarines. Undertake 3D modelling to support spatial integration. Create detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, installation drawings, weld tables, and redlined drawings. Conduct onsite inspections/surveys, escalating issues when required. Work closely with other Drawing Office disciplines to ensure coherency between deliverables. Liaise with subcontractors to ensure design for manufacture / installation. Maintain and prepare project documents as applicable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
