ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions complemented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.Responsibilities include the deployment, documentation and maintenance of automated tests that are driven by APIs and the automation of the GUI. Automated integration testing is a core part of the software development process and you will be working on this as part of a team that values the role of quality assurance. You must be experienced in software development with a focus on automated testing and should be familiar with all aspects of software engineering. This includes troubleshooting and characterizing defects and providing detailed configuration and descriptions for passing and failing tests for product acceptance reports. Additional responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing requirements for automated testability and providing automation testing assistance within the test and development team. Innovation and knowledge transfer are core values in our client’s dedication to continuous improvement as together their team makes a difference in the healthcare arena.You Must Have:B.Sc. in Computer Science/Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years of experience as an automation test developer (including functional, performance and load testing), or 3+ years as a developer with exposure to testing processesDesigned and developed automated test procedures and software based upon requirementsDesigned, developed and executed reusable and maintainable automated scripts and processes, as well as automated build and/or deployment scriptsUsed software development tools for back-end server test automation as well as GUI automation and/or developing test harnesses using a development or scripting language, as is applicableExecuted tests and preparing reports on test progress and regressionsKept abreast with the various testing tools capabilities, such as Test Complete, or similarJava/J2EE , EJB, OOA/OOD, PL/SQL, OracleStrong scripting knowledge Perl, python, bash etc.Comfortable with Unix (Solaris, Linux) and WindowsUnit testing frameworks such as JunitWeb based technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, HTTP/CSS, XMLStrong understanding of all levels of functional software testing including regression and acceptance testingA solid commitment to quality software development with solid analytical skillsDeveloped medical software is an asset, not mandatoryVerbal and written communication and knowledge transfer skillsAttention to detail; ability to quickly absorb new concepts and technologiesYou Will:Develop test cases with these qualities: accurate, economical, repeatable, traceable, appropriate, and self-standingAnalyze problems and troubleshoot potential product defectsEffectively communicate to the development staff the potential product defectsCreate accurate defect artifacts which communicate customer impact and provide information to assist with the defect investigation and resolutionPrepare and train team members on product features and test environmentsMeet schedule constraints throughout the software development cycleDesign automated tests for not only function, but performance and stabilityAssemble and configure the integrated solution under testUnderstand how a feature is implemented in order to develop test cases for the functionality, performance, stress, and fault conditionsIf you’re not interested, but know someone who is, please help a current or former colleague in their career development by referring them.
