POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the IT Manager, the GIS Analyst will collect, analyze, convert, normalize and visualize geographic data to inform decision‑making across City departments. The role requires proficiency in GIS software, spatial analysis, and data management, along with strong communication skills to translate complex data structures and concepts into meaningful solutions. The GIS Analyst coordinates GIS solutions and workflows for users across City departments and maintains City‑wide spatial data and applications for office, field, and public use. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, or IT with a minimum of three years of GIS experience. A technical GIS College Diploma with a minimum of five years GIS experience. A combination of education and experience may also be considered. Local Government or Municipal GIS experience will be considered an asset.
