Duties:Accountability 1:Triage and accept referrals via agreed protocols within the OSP service.Assess clients for suitability for OSP psychological intervention.Respond to telephone inquiries regarding the Central Intake/Triage Service and triage to appropriate internal or external resources.Formulate, implement, and evaluate the intake process.Educate and involve family members and others in treatment as necessary, conveying CBT and other psychological formulations with sensitivity.Complete all requirements related to data collection within the service.Have working knowledge of provincial and national telemedicine standards, policies, and guidelines.Provide advice and consultation to other professionals, individuals, groups, community partners, and stakeholders.Participate in OSP research projects on an occasional basis, taking an active role in data collection and report development.Work in a manner that complies with staff and patient/client safety practices, policies, and procedures of the Royal.Ensure a work environment conducive to the Royal’s Anti-Racism, Harassment, & Discrimination-Free Workplace Policy.Accountability 2: To The Royal, Clients, and Program:Demonstrate behaviors in accordance with the LEADS framework of healthcare leaders.Lead-Self: Self-awareness, scope of practice, seeking feedback, growth opportunities, personal responsibility, integrity, and character.Engage Others: Work collaboratively, foster development of others, active listening, respect for others’ viewpoints, and effective communication.Achieve Results: Decision-making based on best practices aligned with the Royal’s vision, mission, and values; goal focus; ongoing evaluation; initiative.Develop Coalitions: Continuous consultation, collaboration with stakeholders, and establishing new partnerships with a commitment to excellent customer service.Systems Transformation: Ongoing program evaluation and enhancement, critical thinking, and championing progressive service delivery changes.Qualifications:Graduate-level degree or equivalent (Masters, BScN) in a health-related/clinical field including psychotherapy scope of practice (e.g., SW, OT, RP, RN) with at least five years of direct service experience in a healthcare setting.Registered in good standing with a Regulatory College in Ontario; autonomous practice is mandatory.Previous certified CBT training is an asset.Experience working in an interdisciplinary service delivery model is mandatory.Experience and knowledge of working within Indigenous communities is an asset.Experience and knowledge working with diverse populations, trauma, and gender-based violence is an asset.Knowledge of applicable legislated Acts (e.g., MHA, PHIPA, The Health Care Consent Act).Collaborative approach to working with community partners.Strong conflict resolution skills.Excellent advocacy, leadership, and communication skills; ability to maintain good working relations.Commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement, Best Practices, and Teamwork.Provide intake and support to local and satellite locations; primary work location may be re-assigned.Effective team skills and ability to work in an automated environment.Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and evaluate outcomes.Experience in measurement, evaluation, research methodologies, clinical informatics, or a combination of education, training, and experience.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Willingness to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends.English level A- mandatory; bilingual (French/English) A- is an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
