The Sr. Client Solutions Analyst “Sr. CSA” provides credit and administrative support to the Real Estate Banking team for the development and maintenance of a portfolio of loan and deposit accounts. The Sr. CSA reviews all new credits for prefunding conditions, reporting requirements and sets up files and diary system for new and existing credit facilities. He/she/they coordinates the completion of all documents required for current account onboarding (including Know-Your-Customer documentation); preparing relevant documentation for funding, and working closely with our business service center on various tasks such as fee collection, client maintenance, off-boarding, payouts, and reference letter preparation. Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Working closely with Director and Associate Director, the Senior Client Solutions Analyst is responsible for providing a variety of services to a portfolio of existing and prospective clients. New Clients or New Projects: Supporting the collection of information directly from clients and from various sources necessary to assess the client’s risk profile in order to ensure the Bank meets its regulatory requirements related to Know Your Client (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), etc. This includes contacting clients, sourcing internal/external sources/web sites, documenting information in KYC documentation in various formats such as the Client Profile Information documents and responding to various internal Compliance groups. New Credit: this would include a variety of tasks including preparing credit files and ensuring all relevant documents are filed, funding checklist/advance documentation/draw requests are prepared, liaising with solicitors for legal docs, etc. Look for opportunities to make suggestions to continually improve processes and client satisfaction metrics. This may include actioning feedback received directly from clients or through client satisfaction vehicles. Champion and support a culture of diversity and other initiatives aligned with the Bank strategy. Report into the Director and Group Lead, Real Estate Banking. Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? Has proven administrative experience supporting teams or portfolios in a Commercial Lending Real Estate Banking, or Retail Banking environment. Worked with both borrowing and non-borrowing clients. Borrowing clients typically have complex to sophisticated financial solutions. Has strong organizational skills and prioritization skills. Strong organizational/prioritization skills are necessary to manage significant data from multiple sources and balance various tasks from client service administration to borrower reporting processing to credit related support. Strong knowledge of fulfilment processes and roles of partners is preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (in particular Excel) is required. Some knowledge of Adobe Pro is preferred. A high degree of flexibility to adapt to a wide variety of tasks is required. It would be an asset to have familiarity with some or all of the following Scotiabank platforms: Intralink, Free Form Teller (FFT), Business Banking Client Portal (BBCP), Enterprise Documents & Reports Retrieval (EDRR), Salesforce, Shared Document Repository (SDR), PEGA, e-consent, & Trade360.
