We only serve Vancouver Island communities (plus Powell River) and pride ourselves on being a family-run business that serves the communities in which we live.Benefits$18.00 - $22.00 (Static Guard) and $21.00 - $23.00 (Mobile Patrol)Healthy work-life balanceFlexible schedulesExtended health and dental planEmployee recognition programs and eventsOpportunities for advancementLocal and engaged managementIndustry trainingA commitment to helping our employees succeedRequired Qualifications and SkillsEither possess or be able to obtain a BC Security Workers Licence (Ask us)Valid driver's licence and own vehicle preferredFlexible availability for morning, afternoon, evening and overnight shifts (Must be available weekends)The ability to interact with people in a compassionate and respectful mannerA calm demeanor and sound decision-making skillsStrong observation skills and ability to complete high-quality reportsAbility to use computers and smartphones with easePhysically fit with the ability to stand and walk patrols, climb stairs, etc.Ability to follow security procedures set by our clients and Footprints SecurityMust be proficient in the English language (verbal & written)Static Security Guard - General ResponsibilitiesProvide a security presence in various settings (Offices, Malls, Parks, Events, etc...)Provide exceptional customer service to clients and the publicEnsure client property and personnel are safe and secure, providing security inspections for assigned facilitiesConduct foot patrols, including standing and walking - must be physically fitInteract with a wide range of people in varied environmentsCompassionately and respectfully enforce private property lawsObserve, record, and report activities and security incidents while on shiftMobile Patrol Drivers - General ResponsibilitiesAll of the above static guard responsibilities with the addition of the following:At least 1 year of mobile patrol experience is requiredMust be available for night shifts and weekendsSafely drive a security patrol vehicle to multiple client sites per nightAbility to get in and out of a vehicle multiple times per night - must be physically fitProvide a mobile security presence throughout various areas of the cityRespond to alarms and varied callouts at client sitesWe thank all applicants for their interest however only those selected for an interview will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
