We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Electrician to join our team. Whether you are an experienced Journeyman or a driven Apprentice, we have opportunities for growth and development. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while adhering to safety standards and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesFor Journeyman Electricians:Perform complex installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and provide timely solutions.Inspect electrical systems, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with safety standards.Supervise apprentices and provide mentorship and guidance.Collaborate with other trades and project teams to plan and execute electrical work.Test electrical systems and components to ensure functionality and compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).Maintain records of repairs, installations, and inspectionsFor Apprentice Electricians:Assist Journeyman Electricians with installations, repairs, and system maintenance.Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.Participate in hands-on training to develop technical and troubleshooting skills.Support safety initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.Gain experience with electrical diagnostic tools and equipment.Track progress and hours to meet apprenticeship program requirements.QualificationsRequired:Apprentice: Enrolled in or eligible for an approved electrician apprenticeship programJourneyman: Journeyman Electrician Certification (or equivalent provincial certification)Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and codes (CEC)Ability to work independently and in a team environmentExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsValid driver's licenseWork Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heightsWork may involve exposure to electrical hazards, requiring strict adherence to safety protocolsTravel to various job sites may be requiredCompensation And BenefitsCompetitive salary or hourly wage based on experience and certification levelBenefits include health, dental, vision, wellness program, company events, and a retirement savings plan.Career development opportunities for apprentices to achieve Journeyman statusWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
