Job Description As an RBC Financial Advisor, you attract, nurture, and grow relationships with our high-value Group Advantage member clients by adding value in the moments that matter to them. You provide proactive, professional advice and collaborate with RBC partners to help clients with their goals and key life events. You grow and deepen client relationships by leading onboarding discussions and advice events, discovering client needs, and providing value-added advice and solutions. What you will do Communicate with clients to learn about their needs and help them achieve their goals. Provide professional advice and education, addressing complex credit and investment needs for personal and business clients. Participate in RBC at Work Group Advantage events and member onboarding. Collaborate with professionals in Group Advantage, financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking to ensure customized expert advice. Leverage technology to deliver client experience, enable performance and retention. Proactively resolve and prevent client banking problems. Implement contact and relationship-building strategies, supporting new client acquisition locally. Educate clients about RBC product features and services, including digital, mobile, ATM, and online banking. What you need to succeed Must-have Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course). Completed Certificate in Financial Services Advice (e.g., Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I) offered through CSI. 2–3 years of proven experience in the financial services industry handling credit, investments, and converting pipeline leads into results. Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport quickly, maintaining long-term relationships with clients and partners. Agile, adaptable across environments, with strong presentation skills and comfort presenting in groups. Digital savviness across platforms and devices (Sales platform, e‑signature, mobile technologies); comfortable navigating with and for clients. Nice‑to‑have Fluency in a second language. Active in the local community, developing a solid network. Familiarity with Group Advantage value proposition.
