It is our focus on products that deliver the most efficient, reliable, safe and environmentally sustainable solutions that differentiate us in the marketplace.Cleaver-Brooks continues a 90+ year legacy of providing the customers we serve with extraordinary products designed to deliver unsurpassed performance through the power of commitment.Essential Functions:Plan and establish sequence of operations to process information, fabricate, and assemble products while promoting efficient utilization within MRP or ERP system with Lean techniques.Communicate with management and user personnel to develop a list of detailed improvements and a prioritized implementation plan.Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control.Draft and design process flows, equipment layout, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computers.Coordinate and implement quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs.Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities.Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.Confer with clients, vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, or project status.Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.Apply intellect, creativity, adaptability, judgment, and management skills to achieve required results.Ensure duties and company projects are accomplished in an efficient and cost-effective manner.Support peers and management with internal and external projects.Other duties as assigned.EducationManufacturing Engineering Technician Diploma or B.S. Degree in Engineering with emphasis in Mechanical, Industrial or ManufacturingExperience:3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Physical Skill and Effort:Daily interaction with the manufacturing floor coordinating events and improvements. Office environment. Occasional work requiring infrequent physical effortWorking Conditions and Hazards:Normal plant, shop, field or office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features.
