How You Will Create Impact Conduct inbound and outbound calls to prospect, proactively build a sales pipeline, develop marketing plans to promote insurance offerings and contribute to sales, profitability and growth goals. Complete risk assessments and commercial inspections in accordance with underwriting guidelines. Work with clients to review goals, provide risk‑management advice and recommendations for coverage, complete policy updates and document required changes. Conduct policy reviews to identify changing coverage requirements, respond to client inquiries, resolve complaints and elevate issues as required. Participate in events to create brand awareness and develop, maintain, and cultivate community contacts to enhance agency visibility and maximise new business opportunities. How You Will Succeed Remain focused and optimistic in pursuit of a goal, allocating time and resources to manage the sales portfolio effectively despite barriers. Build plans focused on expanding market penetration, applying an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies with a client‑centric lens. Use strong communication skills to influence and persuade others for mutually beneficial solutions. To Join Our Team Have 2‑3 years of experience in commercial insurance sales and business development. Hold a post‑secondary education in a related discipline. Hold a General insurance licence. Be working towards or hold the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) or Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP). What You Need To Know Have your own vehicle, a valid driver’s licence and insurance. Travel regularly. Direct contact with clients and/or service providers may be required. Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, will be required. Subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment if successful.
