Akkodis is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Integrated Logistics Specialist/Configuration Manager for a Government of Canada client. This role focuses on the lifecycle management of software systems, including configuration management, release planning, and obsolescence mitigation across mission-critical platforms.Tasks may include:Defining standards and criteria relevant to applications and software maintenance.Preparing, modifying or updating software handbooks, application lists, operating manuals and technical instructions and orders.Monitoring and reporting on software applications under management including cataloguing activities, version control, obsolescence issues, upgrade options, and divestment activities.Performing analysis of software maintenance, repair and overhaul data.Tracking and managing software versions and updates throughout the SDLC, ensuring changes are properly documented and approved.Identifing and tracking aging software components, third-party dependencies, and hardware interfaces.Planning and executing software releases, including patching schedules, rollback procedures, and stakeholder communication.Developing and implementing logistics strategies that support software systems from design through retirement, ensuring sustainability and cost-effectivenessRequired:10+ years performing tasks related to those listed aboveActive or Eligible for Secret Security Clearance issued by the Government of CanadaAkkodis would like to thank all candidates for submitting to this job opportunity, however, only those with the above qualifications clearly identified in their resumes will be contacted for further instruction and submission to the client.
