Kafka Infrastructure Lead

Job Title: Kafka Infrastructure LeadLocation: Mississauga, ON or Irving, TX or Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)Duration: 12+ months (possible extension)Pay Range: $65 – $70 an HourRole Overview:Oversee design, integration, and enhancement of the Kafka messaging platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support Kafka/Confluent platform administration, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance.Manage large-scale multi-node Kafka clusters and ensure seamless integration with various technology teams.Analyze and enhance system logic; identify and resolve infrastructure issues.Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, and Systems Analysts to define technical and support requirements.Oversee risk management, security, and compliance with firm policies.Contribute to strategic decisions through technical insight and stakeholder management.Required QualificationsExpert in Confluent Platform components (Kafka, Control Center, Schema Registry, Connect, Replicator, Security Plugins).Experience with EDA components (Kafka Brokers, Zookeeper, etc.).Skilled in lifecycle management and performance optimization of Kafka clusters.Preferred QualificationsExposure of Ansible or scripting experience.Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.Note: Dexian Canada will, on request, provide accommodations for disabilities to support your participation in all aspects of our Recruitment and Assessment/Selection Processes.Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
