As part of our team, you'll contribute to sustaining this safety-first environment, where speaking up and driving positive change are not just encouraged but expected.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Journeyperson Pipefitter is responsible for trouble shooting, maintenance and new project installations in an industrial setting mine site wide.Installation, maintenance and repair of water and waste disposal systemsDiagnosis of system problemsDisassemble and reassemble system components as requiredQualificationsValid Inter Provincial Red Seal Pipefitter/SteamfitterHigh School Diploma, General Education Development (GED), or equivalentValid driver's licenseAbility to read blue printsExperience with HDPE fusing, fire protection equipment, process piping, valve installations, and maintenance is an assetStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamExperience in a mining environment is an assetWhy Join Us?At Teck, we offer more than just a job - we provide a pathway to personal and professional enrichment.
