We embrace a work environment where problem solving, creativity, teamwork, risk management and personal effort result in the attainment of our goals and those of our clients.The Yukon Geological Survey (YGS) acquires and disseminates geological and geohazard knowledge to support exploration; to inform resource and land management planning; to assist with infrastructure development; and to engage communities, schools, and the public.The Head of Bedrock Geology is a key member of the branch management team, participating in the design, development and implementation of Yukon government programs and services in support of government, the mineral industry and other Yukon Geological Survey (YGS) clients.
