Position Summary Miovision is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Data Quality Assurance Production team. This team is at the heart of our customer's success; their work is used by engineers and transportation professionals globally to make critical decisions. We are looking for a transformational leader to guide this team as we scale and evolve our operations, ensuring our growing number of production lines deliver data with unmatched quality and customer focus. The Data Production team loves being at the center of the action, producing many types of data for both internal and external customers. They thrive on the details, ensuring that all data products are configured accurately to meet customer specifications before being processed. Our managers are data‑driven change agents who are experts in coaching their teams, managing performance, and collaborating cross‑functionally to drive continuous improvement. Key Duties & Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing production team, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement through effective coaching, goal setting, and performance management. Ensure the on‑time, high‑quality delivery of all data production workflows, including traffic studies and signal connection tasks, meeting or exceeding all customer specifications. Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the production team, ensuring resources are deployed effectively to meet competing deadlines and quality targets. Drive the team's incident resolution process, ensuring production issues are triaged, escalated, and resolved quickly to minimize downtime and customer impact. Act as the voice of the customer in daily operations, ensuring all processes and quality checks are aligned with customer needs and expectations. Manage the project coordination for key data products, ensuring seamless, proactive communication with internal teams such as Sales and Customer Support. Drive continuous improvement by providing clear, data‑driven feedback to peer managers (e.g., on systems or process performance) to help identify and resolve operational gaps. Support leadership in financial oversight by providing accurate data and insights to assist with budget creation, expense tracking, and identifying new cost‑saving opportunities. Communicate the status of production (e.g., turnaround time, quality, risks) to leadership and other stakeholders, translating operational data into clear business insights. Work within an agile environment participating in sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives. Experience Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Operations Management, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in an operations or production environment, with at least 3+ years of direct people leadership experience. Proven track record of leading, coaching, and developing a team of frontline production staff or quality assurance specialists. Demonstrated experience in managing day‑to‑day operations, including resource planning, managing competing priorities, and meeting strict quality and delivery (OTD) targets. A strong background in Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies and operational process improvement. Ability to be a data‑driven "change agent" with a growth mindset, capable of leading a team through operational and cultural evolution. Excellent problem‑solving and incident management skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues under pressure. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate operational status into clear insights for leadership. Nice‑to‑have Skills & Experience Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma). Experience in the transportation, traffic data, or GIS industry.
