Clinical Applications Specialist – Periop (bilingual) 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants As the Clinical Application Specialist (CAS), you will deliver technical and clinical expertise within the Patient Care Solution portfolio by providing excellent education and training support to clinical end‑users. The CAS is a clinical expert supporting pre‑sale product demonstrations (or clinical trial support) as well as post‑sale installation, training and customer‑service activities to support sales objectives for their geography. Responsibilities may also include ongoing post‑sale customer support including on‑site clinical in‑servicing and go‑live support. This role will support operations across Canada, ensuring consistent and high‑quality service delivery. While the position involves national responsibilities, it will be primarily based in Quebec (QC). As a CAS, you’ll play a critical role in transforming clinical workflows and enhancing patient care by supporting the adoption and optimisation of our peri‑operative & digital solutions. Note: This role requires fluency in both French and English, including strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert in the peri‑operative care areas Support clinical end‑user adoption of GEHC Patient Care products including Anesthesia & Respiratory Care, Centricity High Acuity clinical information system & peri‑operative patient monitoring solutions Advance new product (NPI) features & techniques; partner with customers in developing training plans/strategies that support new product assimilation (ARC) (MS) and (CHAA Digital) Coordinate, schedule and execute clinical system training, monitor and report on training outcomes. Training may be conducted onsite at customer facility and/or virtually. Work in close collaboration with Product Marketing Team, identify customer satisfaction opportunities, issues, assist in escalations, problem determination and specialty training requests. Develop meaningful relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) Participate in install‑base upgrade programs, proactive strategic customer touchpoints Drive sales process by conducting clinical product demonstrations and onsite evaluations Required Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent with 5+ years of anesthesia technical/clinical industry experience Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (CSRT, provincial body) with an anesthesia assistant certification as a preferred qualification Deep understanding of clinical education training and associated process implementation Demonstrated experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging based on audience Willingness to travel extensively (60+% within a region, including overnights and some weekends) within the US and Canada via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, train, etc.) Willingness to submit to a check of driving record (given that you will operate a GE HealthCare owned/leased or rental vehicle for company business) Comply with GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position It is a condition of hire that any new employee or contract worker that provides products or services to a GE HealthCare customer facility are fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccinations. Collaborer en équipe : Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes marketing, ventes et services pour assurer une mise en œuvre fluide et la satisfaction des clients. Établir des relations : Développer des partenariats solides avec les leaders d’opinion clés (KOL). Soutenir les ventes : Réaliser des démonstrations cliniques de produits et des évaluations sur site. Assurer la qualité : Participer aux programmes de mise à niveau de l’installation et maintenir un contact proactif avec les clients pour garantir la performance optimale des systèmes. Profil Recherché & Qualifications Requises Diplôme d’études collégiales ou équivalent avec au moins 5 ans d’expérience clinique en anesthésie ou en soins respiratoires. Certification de Thérapeute respiratoire autorisé (membre OPIQ, CSRT et permis provincial requis). Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit — obligatoire. Solide compréhension des méthodes de formation clinique et de mise en œuvre des processus. Capacité démontrée à communiquer des informations complexes à divers publics. Disponibilité à voyager fréquemment (60 % et plus), y compris les nuitées et certains week-ends. Permis de conduire valide et dossier de conduite sans infraction. Conformité au système de gestion de la qualité de GE HealthCare et aux exigences de vaccination. Atouts souhaités Certification d’assistant en anesthésie (un atout important). Expérience en prise de parole en public, animation virtuelle et principes d’apprentissage des adultes. Compétences solides en planification, documentation et présentation.
