Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and meticulous Operations Specialist entrusted with advancing the success of our business through exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will execute effective shipping and receiving of merchandise, fulfill e-commerce orders, and restock the store. They will play a critical role in creating a smooth and efficient customer experience by maintaining a well-organized and clean store environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Specialist will be trained to provide exceptional service to our valued clientele, helping them discover and embrace their individual beauty. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package for employees who work more than 20 hours a week. Responsibilities Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and process incoming merchandise shipments; unpack and organize products and ensure they are properly labeled and priced according to company guidelines. Perform regular inventory counts, monitor stock levels, reconcile discrepancies with the store’s inventory management system, and communicate with the store manager or purchasing department to reorder merchandise. Fulfilling e-commerce orders accurately and in a timely manner. Store Operations: Restock and arrange merchandise, ensure inventory control, maintain cleanliness/organization, and allocate products to ensure adequate stock levels and visual presentation. Monitor and report maintenance or safety issues; operate cash registers and handle financial transactions as needed. Follow opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and securing the store premises. Customer Experience: Greet customers, address inquiries, resolve issues, and assist with product selection and recommendations while providing up-to-date information on features, promotions, and pricing. Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members, assist in training new employees, and support during busy periods. Adherence to Policies: Follow safety, security, and cash-handling policies; comply with applicable laws and regulations; stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends through training materials. Skills and Experience You Will Need 2 years in an operations role or similar position. High school diploma. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual in French and English preferred. Professional appearance and demeanor. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and transactions. Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory calculations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to lift up to 20 kg; flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight.
