Ready for a better work-life balance?HBA Chartered Professional Accountants focuses on providing creative advice and personalized service to our clients along with strong support and development opportunities for our team of professionals.To support our mandate HBA Chartered Professional Accountants is seeking a Tax Accountant at the Manager to Senior Manager Level.Reporting To The Partners And Senior Managers, The Tax Accountant Manager Will Assist With And Oversee Personal And Corporate Tax Engagements For Owner-managed Businesses, Includingidentifying planning opportunities for clientsplanning and overseeing tax returns and other work prepared by junior staffpreparing tax and estate planspresenting client deliverables; andadvising clients on critical business decisionsbeing a member of our Management team.What will it take to succeed in this role?Personally, you have a high level of integrity, initiative and interpersonal savvy to build solid and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholdersManagerFor a manager role, a minimum of four years in public accounting dealing with Canadian Taxation would be expected, including experience with corporate reorganizations and estate planning.Completion of, or enrolment in the In-Depth program would be a strong asset.As a member of the firm’s Management Team, and the AC Group Tax Committee, you also bring proven leadership abilities and skills, including mentoring, coaching, and motivating professional staff.Why work with us?Our firm strongly believes in the importance of work-life balance.
